A luminous river
Reflecting the gleam in your eye
Angel wings fluttering
By a twinkling star
My prom dress shimmering
Bright across the glittering dance floor
Zen dreams
Of Hershey kisses
And shiny toenail polish
Radiating on the sandy beach
The moon glowing
Above freshly fallen snow
Bells ringing in the New Year
As confetti glistens in my eyes
Arousing a metallic happiness
As the TV fades to darkness
